Chris Powers

Chris Powers is a highly engaging professional speaker and trainer, and the co-founder of Guiding Solutions; a solutions-based company in Wilmington, NC whose mission is to help organizations improve their success by increasing the effectiveness of their people. Chris has brought his passionate energy and commonsensical approach, along with real-world, real-time intelligence to hundreds of organizations, helping to increase the effectiveness of Leadership Teams, Front-line Supervisors, Individual Contributors and entire organizations.

A former Navy Master Chief, Chris served for 23 years in the United States Navy Nuclear Submarine Force. In the Navy, Chris served as a Training Facilitator for the Naval Nuclear Power School where he was selected as “Instructor of the Year” for outstanding facilitation and innovative teaching methods, and as “Master Training Specialist” by the Chief of Naval Education and Training.

Chris received a BSAST (concentration in Nuclear Engineering Technology) from Thomas A. Edison State College. He also holds a MBA from Webster University.
