TJ McGrath is a licensed Attorney and retired Colonel with over two decades experience serving as an Air Force Judge Advocate and more than 15 years public service with both Executive and Legislative Federal Agencies in leadership roles.

She is a master trainer who skillfully recognizes how to prevent issues in the workplace and can tailor training with practical, actionable, and useful guidance.  TJ has decades of experience teaching at many levels, from working with junior personnel, to the collegiate level and senior members of the federal government.  She has deployed training modules on Ethics, Sexual Harassment, Bystander Intervention, Implicit Bias, Civility, Mindfulness and De-escalation and is certified by the Air Force as a Master Resilience Trainer.  With this expertise she can expertly develop and deliver a variety of training based on the individual or the agency’s needs.

TJ is an extraordinarily adept facilitator and enjoys teaming with people from varied backgrounds to meet the needs of the organization.  She deftly navigates organizational culture and easily builds rapport with her unique combination of honesty, confidence, and humility.  TJ’s experience includes developing personnel policies for affirmative action and transitioning transgender employees.  Her easily accessible manner, coupled with a high level of political savvy and business acumen, make her uniquely suited for projects with high levels of complexity or concerning novel issues.

TJ holds a Bachelor of Communication from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and a Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from The John Marshall Law School.  She has specialized training in Resiliency, Resolving Workplace Disputes, and Leading Teams.
